Best Buy and Windows 7
May 27th, 2010 by admin

go.tagjag.com - With the advent of Windows 7 going public, I opened the phone lines up. People called in to talk about anything and everything related to Windows 7. Danny Minick is a long-time member of our community, and now apparently has a new job working at his local Best Buy. During this particular call, I asked him what the buzz is around the store. twitter.com - chris.pirillo.com

run your out dated drivers in compatibility mode thats whats awesome about windows 7 , if you give up at the first sign of error then its not for you once it runs good you wont have no more problems. I got a crappy xp 600mhz samsung q1 and installed windows 7 on it and it runs faster then it did on xp and I have the xp drivers all running on windows 7 only quiters quit !

yea cuz of all the graphics and stuff they’re not being executed so that system resources won’t be exhausted from the Aero effect… i don’t know how mac os x does it but they have all the effects while using system resources efficiently

So in some ways Windows 7 is worse than Vista. It’s security is worse than those of Vista. It’s slower than Xp Pro.

And never, ever try to upgrade your old Xp-machine to Windows 7 – it’s just waste of time and waste of money.

In Win 7, where if you SHIFT DEL a file, it does not go away, but stays there until you log off or restart SHIFT DEL does not bring up the are you sure thing. Many people have tried all sorts of things, but sometimes the file goes away but comes back when you F5 it

so many thumbed me down … just because I gave my opinion… the reason i don’t like windows 7 is
    1. It basically looks like vista besides the huge taskbar.
    2. the aero theme’s the same.
and there are so many other reasons… I ugraded to windows 7 and got almost 19 messages saying that it wasn’t compatible and the drivers were outdated… most programs are not even compatible…

i really see nothing about 7, i bought the home premium and the pro version for 30 as a student. like you say i have the noticed the same about the ram use in 7, i wont complain i just pay 60 for both, some day i will use them, but see nothing magical about upgrade from vista service pack 2. Vista works very well, i been playing with vista and 7 and for those who are going to pay $119 for upgrades and much more for full versions is not worth in my opinion. i will conserve my license for future.
