I bought these for my laptop because I like to watch movies and can barely hear thru the built in speakers. I was very disappointed. They aren’t very loud and the sound is distorted when turned all the way up. Save your $$ and invest in something a little more expensive.

OK, if you want to listen music on your computer, do not buy this speaker. Your music will sound awful. Now, if you are ok with hearing the different sounds the computer makes, like a pop-up, alerts and so on, then u can buy this speaker. REPEAT do not buy it if u wanna listen to your music.

I’m giving this one star because it at least worked, but that’s about it. When I plugged in the speakers it made a static popping sound that was noticeable and never went away. The volume was not that great either and was perhaps a level above my existing HP laptop speakers so I returned it. These really are NOT worth the money!

I purchased these speakers for some of my users as I liked the idea of it getting all of it’s power from the USB drive, however, I am disappointed at the overall quality of the speakers and the sound from them. We primarily use our speakers for listening to voice messages so not a high end job. They sound very tinny and weak. ALso the speakers themselves are cheaply made and the usb wire is also of the lightest grade. Would not recommend these speakers.

These speakers are absolutely horrible. I installed them on a fresh installation of Windows XP, and the sound quality is atrocious — clicking constantly on top of my audio. It can’t even do system beeps without sounding like it’s being clipped.

This is regardless of what speaker volume I use, if I set the computer volume to very low setting to make sure it’s not clipping on the output, it still sounds horrible coming out of the speakers. Ditto with changing the speaker hardware volume buttons.

    Do not buy these!
