Corel (previously Jasc) has been well know for its photo editing software. I have been using Corel for many years as a basis for a program I teach at our computer club.

This Paintshop offers a wide array of features and an attractive interface. The online sharing tools are a plus. I am among the users who have experienced an occasional “interruption of service”, but in all a useful product.

I purchased this product knowing it had good and bad reviews.
I really enjoy this product as I am learning how to use it.
There does seem to be a few diss-connects while running through it.
Getting out of text mode is one of them. It may just be me not knowing the
proper procedure. This software is fun and can bring you alot of fun.
If the software is on sale for around $70. 00 I advise to buy. It is worth it
    at that price.

I don’t know about you, but when I try out a product like this, what’s most important to me is ease of use. I want the menus and functions to make sense, I want things to be where it seems they should be, and I want all the features to work like they ought to. Corel PaintShop Photo Pro X3 is particularly satisfying along these lines. I found it easy to do what I wanted to do with this piece of software. The purpose of software like this is image manipulation, and PSPP does a good job of making the layers easy to change and move up or down. Considerably better than a free program like the Gimp.

Now, admittedly, I’m not a power user for apps like this, and if you are such a person (and you know if you are), there are no doubt many other reviews that will give you what you need. But this software is more affordable than Photoshop while doing pretty much everything you would conceivably need to do to manipulate images. I also liked the project manager application, which has a really nifty wizard that lets you plug your pictures into many popular projects (like a calendar) with just a few clicks. It is extremely user-friendly.

Excellent piece of software to help you with editing and organizing your photos. I am not very photo savvy; however, this software makes it easy for those of us who are not professionals. I am still playing with the software and will write more reviews in the near future.
