I haven’t been able to find a case for my 17″ HP laptop until now, and I find that this one suits my needs perfectly. Does have a strong chemical odor for a while–made in China–but I turned it inside out for a few days and it’s now much better. As long as you aren’t interested in having it next to your skin or storing food in it, it should be safe to carry and the odor should eventually go away. I’d recommend buying it if you need a case this size.

I ordered this for my 17. 3 inch widescreen. Width fit perfectly. About an inch to spare on depth. Has a slight odor which I only noticed when I held it close to my face. Got this to protect my laptop from scratches when in my backpack. Believe it will do the job very well.

This sleeve was to large for my 17 inch Dell Inspiron laptop. It has a very bad chemical smell that did not go away after a week. I sent it back. The quality was good but it did not fit my needs.

My son’s laptop is 17″ and I couldn’t find a 17″ sleeve that would fit. This one is at least an inch too big but it will work. If you happen to have an 18″ laptop this would be perfect for it.
