It’s best to stay with the more common and tested versions of the product than take any chances with this.

The program arrived in good condition (sealed) I have not yet installed it on an ailing computer, because of other seasonal demands.

Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2C 32-bit for System Builders – 1 pack – at $169. 99 – It works well, and is priced low enough to feel justified.

I have a MacBook running OS X 10. 5 Leopard. Wanting to install Windows, I purchased this “System Builders” version of XP Pro 32-bit. The only difference between the “System Builders” and “Full Retail” is that this version is cheaper (by quite a bit), but only allows 1 activation, which means one try on one computer. This basically means that you have one chance to install it, and if you mess it up, you more than likely will be out of luck. Microsoft also won’t offer any support, but they’re plenty available online. When it comes down to it, I wasn’t looking to spend a lot of money, but still wanted XP Pro. I am running Parallels with this, and it works perfectly. If you just follow the prompts on the Parallels installer, you should have no problem whatsoever getting this to work. I would be confident in buying another “System Builders” version of software again.
