They have 3 and 4 gigs of ram, core duo 2.0, 8500GT video cards and they run games fine usually. But they bluescreen on reboot and sometimes just randomly... and the display constantly shuts off for 15 seconds at a time, and when the wireless card is active the sound skips. Plus, the wireless card shuts itself off for fun sometimes. Can't wait to install Win7... any students want to buy me a copy? C'maan. Windows Vista was OK, but I had some problems, like how it crashes on the simplest programs like the Internet. We upgraded to 7, and it doesn’t crash on these things. I also love HP Games.

Vista wasn’t that bad if you got into it. It just had a sh*t load of stuff slowing it down and crashing the OS, but after going in and cleaning up it worked really well and I never had a problem with it. Windows 7 though just took all of the crap out of Vista and gave us another upgrade, and you know what? It works pretty damn well. I have used a Mac before and I would say that Vista was just under it, but IMO Win7 and Mac are both great, but I would still go for with Win7 for the games
