I guess if you played the who series of Command and Conquer games from the beginning then it may be worth getting the game for sentimental reasons. . . but otherwise it is not worth spending this much for a game, when all that is good is the last game in the series. Its fun, a good waste of time but nothing special.

This game was a great buy only if you are interested in playing the single player campaigns. None of the multiplayer mods work for the generals and zero hour games. The map editors are not included for the earlier games. There is missing music in the first 2 games.
The best thing and the reason its a good value is because all the games are on 1 DVD instead of having to swap multiple CDs out or clog up hard drive space.

With a higher end system I tried to install the DVD and found constant “file not Win32″ compatible errors, so I wan’t able to install the game. Before you ask, I play WOW, COH, RV6 Vegas and other high end games using DVD, it’s not a system error, it’s just another crap EA product.

C&C games are old and primitive. Much better RTS games are available today. recommended:

I have been a MASSIVE fan of this series and was dissapointed when EA ruined Generals by removing the dogs, engineers and most important of all NAVAL Bases.

On another note I am really happy something like this is being released I have been waiting a long time to have a collection like this and on 1 DVD Disc you cannot ask for more.

I just hope that the origional Command and Conquer has been optimized for XP without the need for additional patches to play.
