posv – Apple Computers goes to the Homebrew Club

In the film Pirates of Silicon Valley, founders of Apple Computer, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak take their Apple 1 computer to the local Homebrew Computer Club at Berkely, and make an impression. Pirates of Silicon Valley is a made-for-TV motion picture made in 1998 telling the story of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs rise to fame in Microsoft and Apple, respectively.

    Yeah, just marketing, getting the interest of investors and customers, and motivating a workforce to fanatical devotion while running a startup that creates a new market. Any fool can do that.

    it was steve wozniak that did all of the hard work. steve jobs just marketed his creations.

    Steve Jobs especially… he lived on communes and traveled India for soul searching. he also tripped LSD multiple times and said it was one of the 2 best things that he ever did. read his wiki page it has the interview where he said that.
