The internet search giant announced its plans to foray in the software domain with providing a small glimpse of its cloud-computing based OS. But, now according to numerous reports the technical specifications of the Google Chrome OS netbook have been leaked.
The Google Chrome OS powered netbook is expected to hit the market sometime during the holiday season in 2010. According to a report at IBTimes, the official spec sheet of the Google Chrome-OS netbook is equipped with ARM-based CPU and NVIDIA’s Tegra chipset among the components.
Further the display of the device is said to be mutitouch-capable touch screen which is 10.1-inch wide with the ability to display HD video (720p). Thenetbook has 64GB SSD and 2GB of RAM, according to the leaked specifications.
For the connectivity purpose, Google Chrome netbook is to comprise of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G, together with ethernet, audio in/out and a multiformat memory card reader.
